A five-minute hike can do wonders

Research at the University of Exeter has shown that as little as five-minute's walking in a natural setting will lift the spirits. We need to be green ourselves, taking in gulps of oxygen and casting our eyes on living things. A trickling stream or waves pounding the shore can do much to restore our sense of well-being. 

They advised never to sit at the computer or desk for lunch. Get somewhere you can watch the world go by. It will keep you rooted in real life.
