Ginger and cinnamon for pain

A patient, suffering the pain of arthritis, wrote a letter in 'arthritisUK' giving a tip about pain relief that enabled her to cut out paracetamol.

Taking half a teaspoon of ginger and half a teaspoon of cinnamon resulted in relief from the pain of arthritis, a patient claimed.  She mixed it into her daily porridge but advises that this should be checked first by your chemist in case it conflicts with outher medication.
