Mental delirium as the result of change

Changes occuring in an older person's life such as hospitalisation or rehousing may well trigger this condition.

The mental confusion resulting from the dislocation of a elderly person's life for whatever reason, may bring on symptoms of cognitive decline. The signs, such as memory loss or a lack of coherrence in communication,  are referred to as mental delirium and should be taken seriously as they may well prelude full blown dementia.
